The Information Line
The SMEC AI Information Line is a free, government-funded service under the Australian Government's AI Adopt program for Australian SMEs. Call 1800 517 403 and speak with an AI voice assistant that identifies itself as AI. After the call you receive an SMS summary. A human consult is available if you want one. This is not legal, financial, or tax advice, and SMEC AI takes no commissions.
Free vs paid
Adopt support is free for eligible SMEs: the Information Line, a 45-minute consultation, and self-service tools. The AI Audit is $1,000. Medical automation is $7k–$15k. Those paid offerings are optional and priced up front.
