What is
AI Adopt?
AI Adopt is the Australian Government program that funds four centres, including SMEC AI, to help small and medium businesses adopt AI. For eligible SMEs, Adopt support covers the Information Line on 1800 517 403, a 45-minute consultation, and self-service tools. Email info@smecai.au if you are not sure you qualify.
What Adopt support is not
It is not a cash grant. It is not a software licence. It is not a paid implementation retainer. SMEC AI will not take commissions on tools it mentions.
Paid work beside Adopt
The AI Audit is $1,000. Medical automation projects are $7k–$15k. Both are optional. You can use Adopt support and never buy them.
