SMEC AI opens applications for fifth AI Pathfinder cohort
ARN covers SMEC AI opening applications for the fifth AI Pathfinder cohort under the federal AI Adopt program.

In brief
ARN covered SMEC AI opening applications for the fifth AI Pathfinder cohort on 14 September 2026, and placed the cohort under the federal AI Adopt program. That link matters. Pathfinder is not a private course sold next to Adopt. It is part of the government-funded work SMEC AI delivers for Australian small business. SMEC AI's own account is that the fifth cohort was the open round announced in September, and that the intake has since closed because the cohort started on 21 October 2026. ARN's report is the publisher's version.
