AI for Australian
allied health SMEs
Allied health is not a GP clinic with a waiting room. Solo occupational therapists and mobile clinicians lose billable time to reports written between home visits. SMEC AI's Adopt consult is free for eligible practices and is how one Victorian OT was matched with PatientVoice.
Reports travel with you, and they eat the evening
A solo occupational therapist in Victoria told SMEC AI that comprehensive report writing was the pain point, even after they had already tried to work faster. In-home care for older adults and people living with disability means the notes happen in the car or after hours. Generic clinic scribes rarely fit OT templates.
What a free consult actually matched
On-the-go clinical documentation
PatientVoice transcribes and summarises consultations and fills OT report templates in real time, including while travelling between appointments.
Case manager handoff
The same user story reports better collaboration with case managers once the notes stopped being a weekend job.
A sector landing, not a city page
SMEC AI already publishes an allied health campaign page for practices that want that intake path. This page exists so occupational therapy and mobile allied health are not folded into generic 'healthcare AI' copy.
Australian proof
Our service includes comprehensive report writing, and the time required to complete documents is a pain point.
PatientVoice (user story). After a free SMEC AI consultation, a Victorian OT was matched with PatientVoice. Custom OT templates went into daily practice. Hours of admin came back each week.

A free consult is the matching step
SMEC AI does not sell PatientVoice and does not take a commission. Eligible allied health SMEs can book the regular 45-minute consult. The allied health page is a separate 30-minute call.
Questions
Is the PatientVoice match only for occupational therapists?
That published user story is an OT practice. Other allied health SMEs can still use Adopt support. The tool match depends on your reports and stack, not a template for every profession.
Do I have to buy software after the consult?
No. Free Adopt support does not require a paid follow-on. If you later want custom medical automation, that work is $7k–$15k and optional.
Is this NDIS or clinical advice?
No. SMEC AI helps with AI adoption. It is not clinical, legal, or funding advice.
